Scout Popcorn Sales To Begin In Northwest Iowa

Northwest Iowa — The Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in northwest Iowa will soon be going door-to-door selling popcorn.

Jennifer Meyer, the Thundercloud District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, tells us about the popcorn fundraiser.

She says if a scout doesn’t come to your door, and you’d like to support the scouts, you can call Mark Poyzer at 712-348-0159. She says he’ll also be able to direct you to another troop or pack if you’re not from the Sheldon area.

Meyer says you can also help another way, by buying popcorn for soldiers, airmen, or sailors.

She says a portion of every sale goes back to the scouts.

Meyer says you can find out more and see what’s available online at campmasters.org.
