Sheldon Band To Perform For Iowa Bandmasters

Sheldon-Schools-logoSheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon High School Concert Band has been selected to receive a great honor…performing for a convention of band directors from around the state.

Sheldon High School Band Director Cliff St. Clair says he got the call Monday.

He says this will be the toughest audience in front of which his band will perform.

St. Clair says he’s excited about this honor, and the opportunity to appear at the Iowa Bandmasters Convention, and he hopes the kids are, too.

The Sheldon High School Band will have to prepare about 45 minutes of music for this performance, which will happen at the Iowa Bandmasters Association Convention in Des Moines in May of this year.
