Sheldon, Iowa — Over the past several weeks we’ve told you about the participation of Sheldon High School’s Show Choir and Jazz Choir in a series of Vocal festivals, at which they were rated for their performance. This weekend the groups are headed to another event, but this time things are a little different.
Sheldon High School Choir Director Brett Gregory says his choirs will participate in the Emmetsburg Extravaganza Saturday.
Gregory explains the scoring system for the Emmetsburg Extravaganza.
He says he’s excited about the competition.
The event begins early Saturday morning, but Gregory says his groups perform a little later in the day.
He says he’s hoping for good support for his choirs, and looking for a good outcome.
The Emmetsburg Extravaganza will take place all day Saturday at Emmetsburg Community High School.
