Sheldon Crossing Intersection Project Going Well

Sheldon, Iowa — Crews are about half done (time-wise) with the traffic light and intersection project at Sheldon Crossing by Taco John’s.

That from Sheldon Public Works Director Todd Uhl. While the $757,000 project involves Highway 18, it is managed by the City of Sheldon. Uhl gives us an update.

He tells us what’s on the docket after that.

Uhl urges people to slow down and use caution in that area. He says the speed limit is 25 in that area right now. He tells us that hopefully when the project is completed, it will make traffic flow a lot smoother going forward.
