Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon seventh-grader is a confirmed great speller.
According to Jim Gude with the Sheldon Knights of Columbus, 7th grader, Douglas Nilles of Sheldon has finished in third place at the Knights of Columbus State Spelling Bee. Gude tells us the bee was held on Sunday, March 8th in Ames.
