Sheldon United Fund Donations Reach $21,498

Sheldon, Iowa — Donations to the 2020 Sheldon United Fund Drive totaled $3,104 last week, bringing the total amount donated thus far to $21,499.

The goal for the 2020 campaign is $30,000 and to reach that goal, an average of about $2,835 would need to be donated each week for the last three weeks of the 2020 campaign, which ends December 31st.

This year’s Sheldon United Fund drive will benefit twenty-five non-profits in Sheldon and surrounding communities, including:

Sanford Sheldon Home Health & Hospice serves only the homemaker clients in Sheldon. The services they receive include such things as personal care, meal preparation and light cleaning.

Sheldon Shop With a Cop serves underprivileged children to obtain all their required school supplies and clothing each year.

Donations may be dropped off at Citizen’s State Bank, Iowa State Bank, Northwestern Bank, or Peoples Bank, all in Sheldon. Or you may mail your contribution to P.O. Box 41, Sheldon, Iowa 51201.

Sheldon United Fund Board members thank the businesses and individuals in Sheldon and the surrounding area for their support.
