Sheldon, Iowa– In 2023, donors to the Sheldon United Fund completely blew the goal out of the water.
The goal was $30,000. But the final total after all donations came in was over 46 percent higher than that — at $43,731. In the last week, donors gave $3,075.
The United Fund will be assisting 23 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities.
The United Fund Board issued this statement: “Board members thank [the] businesses and individuals of Sheldon and the surrounding communities for your wonderful support. We could not achieve this goal to help the 23 organizations without you.”
