Sheldon, IA — Sheldon Emergency Services responded to the new Bomgaars store just after 1:30 this afternoon due to shelving that collapsed and trapped an unknown number of people underneath. Two people were reportedly trapped briefly but escaped with no injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation by Bomgaars’ officials. Responding were Sheldon Fire, EMA, SCAT and Sheldon Police.
