Sibley, Iowa — The County seat of Osceola County will be hopping this weekend, as Sibley holds their annual Good Ole Summertime Celebration. From inflatables to an antique tractor display, there will be something for everyone from age 2 to 102.
Sheryl Peters, of the Sibley Chamber of Commerce, says the weekend starts out with a Beach Party Thursday night.
She says the festivities pick back up Friday evening, with a Beach Ball Relay, picnic and more.
Peters say that Saturday morning will begin with a special kids fishing event, held by Fish Iowa.
Peters tells us about some of Saturday’s other festivities and events.
In addition, she says there will be inflatables for the kids, Mr. Twister will bring his balloon magic, there will be a pedal tractor pull, and an antique tractor display, all on Saturday.
Then Sunday morning, the Sibley Fire Department will hold a Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 to 1:30 at the Fire Station.
