Sign Up Now For Fun At Lake Pahoja Octoberfest

Inwood, Iowa — There are some fun activities coming up at Lake Pahoja, just west of the West Lyon School. The annual Octoberfest is always a huge hit, and proceeds go to the Lyon County Conservation Foundation.

Lyon County Naturalist Emily Ostrander tells us they’ve got activities for young and old alike, with a Halloween theme coming up on Saturday, October 13th. But some of the activities require preregistration and now is the time to think about that. She tells us about the day.

That site is lyoncountyiowa.com/conservation. She tells us the fun doesn’t stop there. And most of the rest of it is geared for kids.

She says those who participate in the kids’ run can be the first to do the trick-or-treating at the campground.

Ostrander says that all proceeds from the Octoberfest go to the Lyon County Conservation Foundation. For more information, you can visit lyoncountyiowa.com/conservation or call 712-472-2217, and they’d love to see you there.
