Women’s Night Out Promises Fun, Learning In The Outdoors

Sutherland, Iowa — Are you a woman of the outdoors? Or maybe you’d like to be? There’s an event coming up just for you from the O’Brien County Conservation Board.

O’Brien County Naturalist Charlene Elyea says ladies are invited to grab a friend and come out to learn new skills, relax in the outdoors, make new friends and spend time with companions.

Again, the event begins at 5:30 p.m. this Friday, September 28th and will conclude at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 29th at the grain bin cabins at Dog Creek Park, 4901 Warbler Avenue, Sutherland.

Elyea says space is limited and is filling fast. Again, reservations are necessary and are being taken by calling the Prairie Heritage Center at 712-295-7200 or by emailing occb@iowatelecom.net. There is a $30 registration fee to cover meals and materials.
