Sioux Center, Iowa — Sioux Center’s Summer Celebration kicks off Thursday evening, and continues through Saturday.
Thursday evening festivities include a FREE community cookout in Central Park from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Also from 5:00 to 7:00 you can see Fairytale Characters in Central Park, and drench your favorite victim in their dunk tank.
From 5:30 to 7:00 pm Thursday, the HOME Ministry Worship Team will be at the Central Park Band Shell. At 7:30 at Sioux Speedway will be the Iron Man Challenge, as well as a performance of the play, The Foreigner, at the Te Paske Theatre.
Events continue Friday and Saturday, as well, with Sioux Center’s Summer Celebration culminating in a fireworks display at the Sioux County Fairgrounds Saturday evening at 10:00 pm.
