Sioux Center, Iowa — The Sioux County American Cancer Society Relay For Life was held on Saturday in Sioux Center.
Relay chairperson Sue Doppenberg says it was a successful event.
She says they don’t have the totals in yet, but it appears to have been a success financially as well.
For comparison sake, Doppenberg says most years they finish around $80,000. A number of years ago they raised $125,000, which Doppenberg called “amazing.”
She says they may be on track to finish around $80,000 again once all the teams get their money in.
