Peterson, Iowa — The O’Brien County Prairie Heritage Center will be hosting a very special activity this weekend, in conjunction with Leap Year. O’Brien County Naturalist Charlene Elyea explains.
(As above) “Oh yeah, it’s Leap Day and we’re going to do a little nature celebration out at the Prairie Heritage Center on Saturday at 2:00 (pm). ‘Who Hops’ is going to be an interactive program, talking about animals…..and perhaps one other thing, that hops.”
Elyea says it will be great fun for the entire family.
(As above) “So compare yourself to some of the animal bests and it’ll be a great time, so bring your family out at 2:00 on Saturday.
