Sheldon, Iowa — One of the statewide offices that is up for grabs in this November’s election is that of Iowa State Auditor. Republican Mary Moisman is the incumbent, and is being challeneged by a former Assistant State Attorney General, Democrat Rob Sand.
Sand stopped by the KIWA studios while he was in town Wednesday afternoon, and we asked him about his background.
He tells us why he is running for State Auditor.
Sand says he’s running because Iowa needs balance in the Auditors Office.
