Statewide Tour Of Historic Barns To Include Several In NW Iowa

Northwest Iowa — The Iowa Barn Foundation will hold its annual All-State Barn Tour September 16th and 17th.

72 historic barns throughout the state will be featured on the self-guided tour, including some in northwest Iowa. They include the Johnson Barn north of Sutherland; the Lorch Mennonite Barn at the intersection of Osceola County Roads A-34 and M-18 just west of the Dickinson/Osceola county line; Ferguson Barn north of Laurens; the Hansen Crib near Ruthven; the Harvey Barn southeast of Gruver; and the Wigdahl Barn southeast of Ruthven.
