Two School Board Meetings Scheduled For Monday

Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Community School District Board of Education will hold a pair of meetings Monday evening, one with the retiring Board, and one with the new Board.

The first scheduled meeting will begin at 5:00 Monday afternoon in the High School Library, and will be the Board’s Annual Meeting. This meeting is held for any business remaining to conclude the activities of the retiring Board.

The second meeting will be of the new School Board, and is the annual Organizational Meeting. That meeting will begin at 5:30 Monday evening. Among the items on that agenda is the administration of the oath to new Board members, as well as the election of Board Officers for the upcoming year. In addition, the Board will determine the dates, times, and location of regularly scheduled monthly Board meetings during the Organizational Meeting.

Monday’s Meetings will be held in the library at the Sheldon Community High School.
