Waldorf University Ownership Change Finalized

Forest City, Iowa — Waldorf University in Forest City has changed hands and is now a non-profit institution. President Robert Alsop says the final step in the transition of ownership happened last Thursday.

Alsop says the move returns the school to its roots as a private, non-profit faith-based institution. Alsop believes that with the new ownership, the university will grow in academics and student count.

Alsop says there is a positive feeling developing on campus that the university will see success.

Alsop says they will have a public event to recognize the transition on December 15th.
