(KIWA Staff Photo)Spencer, Iowa (KUOO) — Buyouts of residential properties in Spencer that were heavily damaged or destroyed in the 2024 flood are now being finalized.
City Manager Kevin Robinson says 13 properties are enrolled through the city and the Spencer Economic Development Corporation, with 26 more going through FEMA.
Robinson updated the council during Monday’s Spencer City Council meeting.
