Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon City Council will meet in regular session at 4:30 p.m. this Wednesday afternoon in the council chambers at the Sheldon Community Services Center across 9th Street from KIWA Radio.

On their consent agenda are the meeting minutes from the previous meeting, the list of claims, approval of 3rd quarter ambulance insurance adjustments, a resolution and pay application for the upper story project, a beer permit renewal for Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh, and a liquor license renewal for Hy-Vee Food Store. Unless a council member requests that an item be pulled out of the consent agenda to vote on separately, the entire consent agenda will be voted on in a single motion.

In old business, the council will resume their discussion about the Children’s World Daycare.

In new business, they will consider the approval of a pay application for the West Park Street and D Street Drainage Project, and a sewer agreement with Double G Carwash. The council will discuss the five-year capital improvement plan and consider the approval of a change order and a pay application on the Wyman and 16th Street Drainage Project.

The meeting starts at 4:30 p.m. in the council chambers and is available on YouTube.
