Spencer, Iowa (KUOO) — This year’s Clay County Fair will again pay tribute to it’s agricultural roots.
Fair CEO and Manager Jason Brockshus says the fair has a long been known for the quality of its livestock shows, produce exhibits, and machinery displays.
He says recent years have also allowed the fair to showcase ag education and the important role FFA programs in area high schools. Brockshus says the fair will once again dedicate a day to celebrating that work, with FFA Day scheduled for Tuesday, September 15th.
Brockshus says they’re thrilled with the continued growth in youth participation and interest in ag education at the fair.
