They are working to inform Siouxland residents about prostate cancer screening, especially. Terri Bos, Director of Community Health Services for Sioux County Community Health Partners, tells us when people should more seriously think about prostate cancer screening.
People are typically more at risk with age, but Bos reminds people to talk with their doctor before getting screened.
September is also National Suicide Prevention Month. Community Health Partners shares information on 988 year-round for people who are having a crisis. Bos explains how they help those in crisis.
Community Health Partners is also giving away free radon test kits for homeowners in Sioux County.
