Everly, Iowa (KUOO) — An investigation into a domestic disturbance early Friday morning in Everly led to the arrest of a local man on multiple charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 107 East 2nd Street a little after 1:30 a.m. According to a press release, the investigation resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old Marcus Lee of Everly.
Lee is accused of:
- Control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a felon
- Reckless use of a firearm causing property damage
- Domestic abuse assault while displaying or using a weapon
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of a controlled substance, 3rd or subsequent offense
Authorities say a search warrant was obtained and executed at the residence as part of the investigation, and additional charges are pending.
