According to Hospers Fire Chief Jason Overmohle, at about 1:10 p.m., the Hospers Fire Department was called to the report of a vehicle fire at B40 and Monroe Avenue, three miles east of Hospers.
When they got there, the chief says the fire department saw a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee fully engulfed. He says they used water and foam to fight the fire.
Overmohle says no injuries were reported.
The Granville firefighters were also paged, but they were called off, says Overmohle.
He says the cause of the fire is undetermined, due to the heavy damage to the vehicle.
He says the firefighters who responded were on the scene for a little over a half an hour.
