(KIWA Staff Photo)Hartley, Iowa (KUOO) — The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input on plans to replace a culvert on Highway 18, west of O’Brien County Road M22 and east of Hartley.
A bid letting is scheduled for November 28th, with construction and completion scheduled for 2029. A detour will be in place during construction, using:
- O’Brien County Road M12 (Vine Avenue)
- County Road B20 (330th Street)
- County Road B20 (Warbler Avenue)
- County Road B20 (340th Street)
- County Road M22 (100th Avenue)
The project carries an estimated cost of nearly $1.6 million.
