Lydia’s Lindy Returns To Build Understanding And Support For Those On Autism Spectrum

Primghar, Iowa — A special event to build understanding and support for families raising children on the spectrum is coming up in Primghar this weekend.

Dubbed “Lydia’s Lindy,” the event is a special part of this Saturday night’s Figure-8 races in Primghar. Taylor Caskey tells us about the event.

A “Lindy” is normally a dance, but in this case, it’s sort of a “dance” for figure-8 cars, if you will.

She tells us where the money goes this year.

Caskey tells us some of the fundraising is already done, and some will take place the night of the event.

She says the event was named after her daughter.

The figure-8 races take place all summer long on the track at the O’Brien County Fairgrounds in Primghar. Lydia’s Lindy is during the race this Saturday night, July 11th. Hot laps start at 6:30, with racing starting at 7:00.
