Washington, D.C. (RI) — Iowa Congressman Zach Nunn says the United States is locked in a high-stakes artificial intelligence race with China.
Nunn says China has stolen intellectual property from U.S. companies for decades and is now shipping oil out of Iran using what he calls a “ghost fleet.” He credited President Trump for taking action to address China’s activities.
Nunn, a Republican from Ankeny, serves on the U.S. House Select Committee on Communist China. He says the panel is central to shaping Congress’s response to China’s aggression.
Nunn made his comments this week at a forum in Des Moines sponsored by the America First Policy Institute.
