(KIWA Staff Photo)Paullina, Iowa– A Paullina man was taken to the hospital after a crash near Paullina on Monday, August 24, 2026.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 10:00 a.m., 39-year-old Emilio Guicho of Paullina was driving a 2012 Ford southbound on Olive Avenue, a mile south and four west of Paullina.
The report says that Guicho lost control and his car entered the ditch, hit a field drive, and flipped. The car was found on its roof.
The Paullina Ambulance took Guicho to Orange City Health System Hospital.
Guicho’s Ford sustained $5000 in damages, which totaled the vehicle.
