Sheldon, Iowa — Soon after the holidays, there will be a change for Sheldon residents. The downtown recycling container is moving.
Sheldon City Manager Sam Kooiker gives us the details.
That shop is at the corner of Pine Street and North 2nd Avenue (or old Highway 60). Kooiker tells us why the container is moving.
The change is set to happen on January 3rd, 2024.
In other City of Sheldon reminders, Kooiker reminds us the winter fireworks period in Sheldon is now only 12 ½ hours long. Winter fireworks are allowed only between the hours of noon on New Year’s Eve, December 31st and 12:30 am on January 1st, New Year’s Day.
