Late next month, Meineke and six other Iowa lineworkers, will travel to Guatemala to bring power to a village that’s never had electricity before. The project will take approximately three weeks. This school in the village operates each morning with no electricity. They can’t hold school in the afternoon because there is no refrigeration available to store food and milk for lunches.
