Dordt Softball In Sioux City Tuesday

Sioux City, Iowa — The Dordt Defenders will face Briar Cliff on Tuesday, April 27 in Sioux City with the GPAC doubleheader starting at 3:00.

Briar Cliff is 18-22 this season with a 5-13 GPAC record.

Alexis Westercamp is batting .417 with 53 hits and 11 homeruns and 37 runs batted in. Callie Billings is batting .347 with 34 hits and Josie Chronic is batting .315 with 41 hits. Allie Poston has 35 hits and six homeruns with 29 runs batted in.

Mailee Jensen is 9-9 on the mound with a 3.45 earned run average and she has 100 strikeouts in 109 innings and Grace Delay is 4-5 with 51 strikeouts in 53 innings.

The Dordt Defender softball team is 19-21 this season and 8-10 in the GPAC with four games remaining after the Briar Cliff doubleheader.

Jessica Oules is batting .344 this season with 42 hits and she has 21 runs scored with 12 stolen bases. Hannah Sikkema is batting .337 with nine doubles and Rachel Evavold has a .336 batting average with 38 hits and ten doubles and she has knocked three homeruns with 23 runs batted in. Kenzie Cunard is batting .295 with seven doubles and two homeruns and she has 13 stolen bases.

Abby Kraemer is 10-8 this season with a 3.06 earned run average and she has 137 strikeouts in 125 innings pitched. Rachel Evavold is 7-8 with a 3.44 earned run average and has 66 strikeouts in 99 innings.

Dordt will host Waldorf on Wednesday night, April 28 before hosting Concordia on Saturday to complete the regular season.
