Northwest Iowa — Girls State Golf concluded Wednesday afternoon. In Class 1A the team title went to Akron-Westfield. As a team they shot a 738 for 1st place. 2nd place went to New London who shot a team total of 753. The Class 1A individual champion was Samantha Knight of West Monona who shot a 2-day 151. Second went to Casey Noble of New London with a tournament total 162.
In Class 2A, Treynor took the team title with a team total 698, while Emmetsburg took 2nd place with a 745. The individual champion was Annika Patton of Alta-Aurelia with a 2-day 154 and 2nd place went to Aly Anderson of Treynor.
Atlantic Class 3A Team Champion with a 2-day 689, and New Hampton was in 2nd place with a 2-day total of 700. Emily Snelling of Clear Lake took the top spot on the podium individually with a tournament total 141. Brooke Newell of Atlantic was the runner-up with 146.
