(KIWA Staff Photo)Regional, Iowa – The Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union released its preseason volleyball rankings for the 2026 season Thursday, August 19th.
Sioux Center is ranked second in Class 4A with Bishop Heelan in Sioux City ranked third and Sergeant Bluff-Luton ranked eighth in the same class.
Cherokee comes in as the top-ranked team in Class 3A with Western Christian ranked third and MOC-Floyd Valley ranked fifth in the same class.
Hinton comes into the preseason ranked seventh in Class 2A with Central Lyon ninth and Missouri Valley ranked 14th.
Boyden-Hull is the top local team ranked in 1A at No. 8 with Remsen-St. Mary’s ranked No. 14.
