(KIWA Staff Photo)Iowa — The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its 2026 preseason volleyball rankings on Thursday, August 19th.
In Class 4A, Sioux Center opens the season ranked second, with Bishop Heelan of Sioux City at third and Sergeant Bluff-Luton at eighth.
In Class 3A, Cherokee enters the fall as the top-ranked team, followed by Western Christian at third and MOC-Floyd Valley at fifth.
In Class 2A, Hinton is ranked seventh, Central Lyon ninth, and Missouri Valley 14th.
In Class 1A, Boyden-Hull is the highest-ranked local team at No. 8, with Remsen St. Mary’s at No. 14.
