Iowa WR Reece Vander Zee on spring drills

Iowa receiver Reece Vander Zee feels the Iowa offense has a lot of potential despite key losses from last year’s team that finished 9-4. Vander Zee is top returning wide out after catching 15 passes last season, including two touchdowns. It was a season that began with him missing the first four games with a foot injury.

The former Central Lyon George Little Rock stand out has battled injury his first two season but hopes the experience makes him a better player.

Vander Zee feels much more confident now as he heads into his junior season.

After wearing the number 15 his first two seasons, Vander Zee has switched to the number two.

The Hawkeyes close spring drills with an open practice on Saturday.
