Schuiteman Signs With Northwestern

Northwestern logoOrange City, Iowa — Breana Schuiteman has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College next fall.

Schuiteman is a 5-8 point guard who is a three-year letterwinner for the MOC-Floyd Valley basketball team heading into her senior year. Schuiteman led the Dutch in scoring last season, pouring in 14.3 points per game to go with a team-high 46 three-pointers. She shot better than 40% from beyond the arc and also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Schuiteman earned second team all-conference honors and was named to the class 3A Iowa All-District Basketball team. An honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society, Schuiteman plans to major in Athletic Training at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Kyle and Brenda.

She is a hard-working and positive young lady with a competitive spirit. Bre will be a great teammate who will challenge both herself and others to get better every day.”
