Van Zee helped lead her team to the Siouxland Conference Championship in each of the last two years and to the state meet as a junior. She earned academic all-conference honors and has a personal best of 20:11 in the 5K. Van Zee is a member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society and plans to major in Nursing at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Tim and Sara.
“BreElle is a welcome addition to our women’s cross country and track teams,” said Northwestern Head Coach Scott Bahrke. “She is a talented distance runner who has great work ethic and a big heart. We are thrilled to have BreElle part of the Northwestern College family.”
