Osceola County, Iowa — A Hartley woman and her passenger were injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident that happened in southeastern Osceola County late Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened about 4:40 Tuesday afternoon when a 1999 Chrysler 300, driven by 20-year old Nicole Keasling, of Hartley, was northbound on Tyler Avenue between 260th Street and 270th Street when Keasling lost control on the ice-covered roadway, left the roadway to the left, and rolled into a canal filled with water.
Deputies say Keasling and a passenger, Justina Keasling of Hartley, were both taken to the Osceola Community Hospital by Osceola County EMS.
Authorities estimated the damage to Keasling’s Chrysler at $9-thousand.
