Hawarden, Iowa — A Hawarden teen is now facing charges in relation to a burglary that happened in November.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Wednesday, June 10, they charged a 17-year-old boy from Hawarden, after an investigation into a burglary that happened in November, 2014 at a business on Birch Avenue, two miles north of Hawarden.
Sheriff’s officials believe the boy used a brick to break open a door to a construction business building. Once inside the building, a safe was stolen, they say.
