Paullina Woman Hits Steer With Vehicle

Primghar, Iowa — A Paullina woman struck and killed a steer on Tuesday, September 6th near Primghar.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 9:10 pm on Tuesday, 51-year-old Michelle Lange of Paullina was driving a 2002 Ford F250 westbound on 390th Street, west of Primghar. According to the report, a black and white faced steer calf was on the road and Lange struck and killed the steer.

The Ford received $3,000 damage. The steer was killed and valued at $700.

No injuries were reported.
