Sioux Falls Woman Rolls SUV Multiple Times In O’Brien County Crash

O’Brien County, Iowa — A Sioux Falls woman was taken to the hospital in the aftermath of a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of 390th Street and Nettle Avenue in the wee hours Thursday morning (September 2nd).

According to the accident report from the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 1:00 am Thursday, a 2014 Honda CRV, driven by 49-year-old Connie Jo Post, of Sioux Falls, was westbound on 390th Street, traveling at a high rate of speed. Deputies say Post failed to obey the stop sign at the intersection with Nettle Avenue, went airborne, then entered the north ditch and rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its wheels.

Post was transported to the Sanford Sheldon Medical Center by the Sheldon Community Ambulance Team (SCAT).

Her SUV was totaled in the crash.

The report says Post was cited for Speeding and Failure to Obey a Stop Sign.
