Sioux Center, Iowa — Six people were taken to a hospital after a crash on Monday, July 13, 2026, near Sioux Center.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office tells us that about 4:10 p.m., 36-year-old Maria Martin Sebastian of Sioux Center was driving a 2017 Ford Explorer eastbound on 390th Street, three miles west of Sioux Center, when she lost control of the vehicle. The Explorer entered the north ditch and rolled.
The Sioux Center Ambulance took Martin Sebastian and five other occupants to Sioux Center Health.
The vehicle sustained $13,000 in damage.
Martin Sebastian was cited on charges of No Driver’s License, Child Restraint Device, and Failure to Maintain Control.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the Sioux Center Fire Department, Sioux Center Ambulance Squad, and the Sioux Center Police Department assisted them with the response to the crash.
