Primghar, Iowa — Three people were injured after a two vehicle collision west of Primghar on Tuesday, May 17th.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 6:50 pm on Tuesday, 23-year-old Jessica Pederson of Hartley was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on Redwing Avenue, west of Primghar. Forty-seven-year-old Linda Towe of Paullina was driving a 2013 Ford Escape westbound on 390th Street. According to the report, Pederson stopped at the stop sign at the intersection before attempting to make a right-hand turn onto 390th Street. Pederson did not see Towe until it was too late, and was struck by Towe.
The Chevrolet received $5,858 damage; the Ford received $7,712 damage.
Pederson and 1-year-old Boone Harrison of Hartley were transported by private vehicle to Orange City Area Health System for treatment of their injuries. Towe also reported minor injuries but declined further treatment
