Ashton, Iowa — A Sheldon man was arrested on a charge of Felony Drunk Driving south of Ashton on Saturday.
According to a release from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, one of their deputies arrested 34-year-old Luis Jose DeJesus, of Sheldon , for allegedly Operating While Intoxicated – 3rd Offense, a class D Felony, and No Valid Driver’s License.
Authorities say DeJesus was transported and booked into the Osceola County Jail and released after posting a $5,000 bond.
Deputies say the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop for traveling southbound in the northbound lane of Hwy 60 near 230th Street, south of Ashton.
