Two Men Face Felony Drug Charges In Lyon County

Rock Rapids, Iowa — A man from Missouri and one from Minnesota were arrested on Saturday and face felony drug charges in Lyon County.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Saturday, they arrested 18-year-old Santavion Metcalf of Independence, Missouri, and 53-year-old Arthur Depass of Luverne, MN on the felony drug charges.

The sheriff’s office reports that Metcalf and Depass were charged with two counts of possession with the intent to distribute (cocaine and marijuana) and two counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp (for cocaine and marijuana). Metcalf and Depass were transported to the Lyon County Jail.

According to court records, both posted surety bonds on Monday. They face preliminary hearings on Tuesday, October 13th.
