Storm Lake, Iowa (KUOO) — A single-vehicle crash Sunday morning near Marathon in Buena Vista County claimed the life of a Storm Lake man.
The Iowa State Patrol says 58-year-old Andrew Lincoln of Storm Lake was driving a 2007 Lincoln MKX eastbound on 480th Street, east of County Road M54, when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled, coming to rest on its driver’s side in a cornfield.
Lincoln, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash took place a little after 9 a.m. Sunday. The Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office and a towing service assisted on the scene.
