Doon, Iowa — Details are few at this time, but one local law enforcement agency is asking for the public’s help as they investigate an incident earlier this week.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on the incident to call their office or send them a Facebook message.
They say if you heard gunshots near the 3100 block of 250th Street late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, around midnight, if you observed anything suspicious, and/or have cameras pointing towards the road near there, they’d like to hear from you. You can call the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at 712-472-8300. The location is in the first mile east of Highway 75 at the B&B Gates corner, three miles east of Doon.
The sheriff’s office posted the request for information on their Facebook page, but there has been no other information released about the nature of the incident or any suspects that they may or may not be seeking in connection with the incident.
