Primghar, Iowa – Two people from Primghar were taken to the hospital after an accident in Primghar.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 9:50 AM on Saturday, August 1, 2015, 92-year-old Donna Klinker of Primghar was driving a 2011 Buick northbound on South Hayes Avenue. Seventeen year-old Brett Lange of Paullina was eastbound on Third Street Southeast in a 2001 Ford pickup.
The report says that Klinker failed to yield to through traffic from a stop sign. It says she pulled out in front of Lange. The Lange pickup hit the Klinker Buick in the driver side rear door and quarter panel.
A private vehicle took Klinker and a passenger in her vehicle, Marian Ginger, to Baum Harmon Mercy Hospital. Lange was not injured.
Klinker ‘s Buick sustained $10,000 in damages, and Lange ‘s pickup sustained $2000 in damages.
The report says no charges have been filed.
