Man Taken Into Custody On 15 Warrants From 5 Northwest Iowa Counties

Northwest Iowa — Clay County Deputies have arrested a man on active criminal arrest warrants from five northwest Iowa counties.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Jordan Walbaum was wanted on a total of fifteen active arrest warrants out of O’Brien, Clay, Cherokee, Pocahontas and Buena Vista Counties.

Officials say the charges include: multiple counts of Failure to Appear; two counts of 3rd or Subsequent Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance; Felony Eluding; Assault on a Police Officer; Disarming a Peace Officer; Operating Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, OWI and more.

Walbaum was taken to the Clay County Jail in Spencer.
