Glynlyon To Rebrand As Weld North Education

Rock Rapids, Iowa — Northwest Iowans may soon see a new name associated with one of the largest employers in Lyon County.

The business, known by locals as simply “AOP” or “Alpha-Omega Publishing” is rebranding. A number of years ago, the people that are in charge decided to offer more choices to their customers, and AOP, while it continues to be the company’s Christian-based curriculum, joined Odysseyware, and the company became known as Glynlyon.

Tami Murray of Rock Rapids is the Vice President of Operations at what is now called Weld North Education Consumer Group. She says some more changes have been initiated.

Murray tells us how they feel about the change and what it will mean.

Weld North also runs online academies, which make them the biggest “school” in Lyon County.
