Hawarden Man Faces Felony Charge Over Parking Space

Sioux Center, Iowa — A Hawarden man faces felony charges following an incident this (Thursday, April 26th) morning near Sioux Center.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called to Natural Food Holdings, which is located a mile south of Sioux Center, around 9:15 Thursday. 

Deputies say their investigation discovered that 30-year old Jacob Johnson, of Hawarden, had allegedly used his 2002 Ford F-150 pickup to push a 2004 Chrysler 300 M automobile from a parking spot that he wanted to use.

According to authorities, when Johnson allegedly pushed the Chrysler, the car sustained about $18-hundred in damage.

Deputies say Johnson was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, which is a Class “D” Felony.
